Your emails are coming in fast and furious so I decided today that I would answer some of those questions with everyone and we can continue to learn from one another. The subjects range from trauma to ending a relationship to having trouble letting go of regrets and shame to perfectly hidden depression. — so lots of variation. There is one thread which popped up and that’s how to deal with a therapist where there’s little connection or you simply don’t feel like you’re making progress. And I have lots of book suggestions so I hope you’ll listen and learn.
Big announcement today! If you’d like to pre-order my new book Perfectly Hidden Depression, you can do so by clicking this link (http://perfectlyhiddendepression.com) and ordering! The book launches on November 1st, but I explain why pre-orders are important. They keep the excitement of what’s happening fresh for sure! The treatment and healing methods I describe in the book can be applied to anyone although the model I’ve created is especially geared toward perfectionism. I use not only personal examples from my own life, but from the patients I’ve seen and the interviews I’ve conducted — so much of what you read is about real people.

My new book entitled Perfectly Hidden Depression has arrived and you can order here! Its message is specifically for those with a struggle with strong perfectionism which acts to mask underlying emotional pain. But the many self-help techniques described can be used by everyone who chooses to begin to address emotions long hidden away that are clouding and sabotaging your current life.
And there’s a new way to send me a message! You can record by clicking below and ask your question or make a comment. You’ll have 90 seconds to do so and that time goes quickly. By recording, you’re giving SelfWork (and me) permission to use your voice on the podcast. I’ll look forward to hearing from you!
