079 SelfWork: Perfectly Hidden. An Interview with Stuart Walker
Stuart Walker is a friend to all, the owner of two successful gyms in Arkansas, and a dad and father of three children, two of whom have autism and one with other disabilities and significant physical problems. And he was suicidal for months before he finally broke down and sought help. Stuart is the exact kind of person who, had he acted on those thoughts, no one would have seen or known what exactly had happened. This is his story, a story of Perfectly Hidden Depression, and is a tribute to the strength and caring of both himself and his wife, Missy. My gratitude to both for allowing their story to be told.
I’m including the You Tube video that we did a couple of years ago, so if interested, you can watch him for yourself. You can watch this clip and view the entire interview!

My new book entitled Perfectly Hidden Depression has arrived and you can order here! Its message is specifically for those with a struggle with strong perfectionism which acts to mask underlying emotional pain. But the many self-help techniques described can be used by everyone who chooses to begin to address emotions long hidden away that are clouding and sabotaging your current life.
And there’s a new way to send me a message! You can record by clicking below and ask your question or make a comment. You’ll have 90 seconds to do so and that time goes quickly. By recording, you’re giving SelfWork (and me) permission to use your voice on the podcast. I’ll look forward to hearing from you!
